Honolulu
IJN officers of Kido Butai(Carriers strike group) were listening to broadcasting from Honolulu since 4 Dec 1941.

VOA
InsideOutside
This leaflet propaganda tells VOA from Saipan. Frequency varied 850 to 1,100 kc/s. It broadcasted 6pm to midnight. It began on Dec 25th 1944.

OSS began to broadcast using VOA of Saipan on Apr 23rd 1945. The frequency was 870 kc/s. It was about 30 minutes from 4am. It continued till Aug 13th. It said, 'This is New Nation Broadcast.'

Otherwise NHK began jamming VOA from various staions on the day.

I found the jamming stations distrubuted bias. Hokkaido is bigger than inculding Kyushu and Shikoku. But there were 2 and 7 stations in Hokkaido and Kyushu each. 5 of the 7 stations were located in an area that US was to occupy on Nov 1945.

Radio Tokyo
Radio Tokyo was broadcasting enemy music for allied soldiers. It broadcasted pops, 'Smoke gets in your eyes', 'My old flame', 'I don't want to set the world on fire' on 9 Mar 1945. And some crews of B-29 were listening to the music on the big Tokyo raid ironically. Allied soldiers called female DJs of Radio Tokyo Tokyo Rose.
Tokyo Rose

Crews of sneaking task forces of USN were listening to broadcasting from Tokyo before the first Tokyo raid in 1942.
